The CTO will be responsible for the technology infrastructure of the company. Will also be saddled with the company’s information technology and computer systems with duties including assessing current processes, recommending software upgrades, and directing the executive team on the best processes.

Qualification
• Bachelor’s Degree in technology related field
• Industry-Specific Software Professional Certifications
• Work and industry experience with proofs (Past projects)
• Project Management Certification such as CompTIA Project+ or PMI Agile (Added Advantage)
• Master’s in computer science, Information Technology or Information Technology Management.

Chief Technology Officer Duties
1. Being responsible for the technology architecture of an organization.
2. Running the team of IT engineers within the organization.

10. Making executive decisions regarding our company’s technological needs

28. Identifies competitive advantages and technological trends for the benefit of a company
29. Directs the development and possible implementation of policies in instances of a breach, also known as disaster recovery plans
30. Works with other departments to use new technologies to streamline company policies and rules
31. Conducts research to improve the technological assets of a company
32. Oversees IT budgets to make sure there are no unnecessary expenditures
33. Develops and directs all networking safeguards to reduce the risk of outside breaches and protect sensitive internal and external client information
34. Develops and implements all internal communication systems, such as email and instant messaging
35. Plans and implements proper Internet usage policies for employees
